Kanye “Ye” West is back in the music scene with his fresh 2026 offering, Bully. This launch occurs soon after the musician expressed regret for his prior conduct, notably towards the Jewish community, in a formal letter shared through The Wall Street Journal back in January. He linked his deeds to his bipolar condition.

The “Jesus Walks” performer penned, “In that shattered mental space, I was drawn to the most harmful representation I could locate, the swastika, and even retailed shirts displaying it. One of the challenging elements of being bipolar type-1 are the detached periods – many of which I still have no recollection of – that resulted in inadequate judgment and imprudent actions that frequently resemble an out-of-body-experience. I am sorry and deeply ashamed by my actions while in that condition, and I am dedicated to taking responsibility, seeking treatment, and making substantial changes. This doesn’t excuse my actions, though. I am not a Nazi or an anti-Semite. I have affection for Jewish individuals.”

Ye mentioned he intends to concentrate on producing meaningful artwork on his renewed course forward.

“As I discover my revised normal state and equilibrium through a potent combination of prescribed medication, therapy sessions, physical activity, and healthy living, I possess newly found, much-needed lucidity,” he communicated. “I am channeling my efforts into uplifting, substantial art: melodies, garments, designs, alongside different fresh concepts geared toward assisting the globe.”
