While underscoring that Hannah Montana was “more than just a show” to its devoted followers, Miley elaborated, “I believe Disney even sometimes overlooks the connection between myself and Hannah. … On a daily basis, I witness how essential Hannah is to individuals. In my travels, people present me with ‘Hannah’ branded goods. They inquire, ‘Will you ever consider doing another season?’”

Evidently, no — not all the original Hannah Montana actors are participating in the 20th anniversary special. The core original cast consisted of Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles, and Moisés Arias. While their names appear in the special’s closing credits, it remains ambiguous whether they will actually make an on-screen appearance.
