Chanel presents CC League, a new global initiative dedicated to supporting high-level female athletes. Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s values, the program transcends traditional notions of beauty and positions itself as a tool for strength, transformation and confidence.
Designed for two years, CC League is a space for development, self-expression and reimagining femininity beyond sport and competitive performance. At the heart of the program are seven young athletes from different countries and disciplines, each of whom represents a new generation of women: ambitious, strong and distinctive.

The initiative offers a comprehensive approach, from individual mentoring and group coaching sessions to special Chanel beauty workshops aimed at revealing the natural uniqueness of each participant. Particular attention is paid to developing confidence, self-expression and shaping one's own vision of beauty – without imposed standards.
The program is mentored by Renee Montgomery, a former WNBA player and vice president and co-owner of the Atlanta Dream. Her experience in and outside of professional sports has been instrumental in shaping the CC League’s philosophy of choice, authenticity, and leadership.

The CC League is comprised of seven female athletes from different parts of the world — each with a unique story and their own vision of strength and beauty.
-
Gaby Agundez is a medalist in international diving competitions who combines grace with inner strength and actively promotes the role of women in sports.
-
Marie-Julie Bonnin is a world champion pole vaulter; she sees beauty as a source of confidence and a kind of “armor” before competitions.
-
Cindy Chung Sum-Yuet is one of the youngest participants in international competitions, who sees beauty primarily as an inner sense of harmony.
-
Heidi Gogaen is a multiple world championship medalist who has turned her own limitations into strength and a symbol of endurance.
-
Gilly Kim is one of the brightest young stars of short track speed skating, combining athletic victories with a deep search for her own identity.
-
Jane Kim is a legend of sport climbing; after motherhood, she returned to the big sport and conquered the peaks again.
-
Janelle Leung is an Asian junior champion who combines sports with studies and explores the balance between intelligence and physical strength.
In addition to practical tools, participants will gain access to a global community of female leaders in various fields, as well as a safe space for dialogue, reflection and rethinking established norms. This is where, according to Chanel, new rules of the game are born – both in sport and in life.
CC League also highlights an important transformation in the beauty industry: from external attributes to a deeper understanding of beauty as an internal resource. This approach directly resonates with the legacy of Gabrielle Chanel, who, during her lifetime, considered freedom of expression to be the ultimate luxury.

At a time when women's sports are gaining more visibility, Chanel's initiative is not only an act of support, but also a cultural gesture in favor of diversity, strength and new narratives about women. CC League is a manifesto for a new era where beauty no longer dictates the rules, but helps create them.
