Berger issued a declaration to People, stating, “Robert Redford breathed his last on Sept. 16, 2025, at his sanctuary in Sundance situated in the Utah mountains—the locale he cherished, encompassed by those he loved. He will be profoundly missed. The family appeals for discretion.”
