Brooke Shields is taking on a dual role in her forthcoming show, You’re Killing Me. Functioning as both a producer with executive powers and a member of the acting company, the president of the Actors’ Equity Association will grace the smaller screen once again in the Acorn TV program, scheduled to premiere this spring season.
“Located in a picturesque New England locale, the intriguing story centers around ‘Allie’ (Shields), a celebrated novelist, who forges an improbable bond with ‘Andi’, an aspiring author and podcaster, to unmask the perpetrator behind the demise of a dear companion,” states the description for the series.

When Will the You’re Killing Me Series Be Released?
As of the time of this writing, Acorn TV has yet to reveal the specific launch date, but the program is anticipated to be broadcast in the spring of 2026.
Who Are the Actors in You’re Killing Me?
Alongside Brooke, who embodies Allie, the remaining primary ensemble includes Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh. Amalia, recognized for her work in Sullivan’s Crossing, takes on the persona of Andi in You’re Killing Me. As for Tom, the Golden Globe-nominated performer is celebrated for his roles in The Flash and Ed, and he will be seen as Jack in the Acorn TV show.
According to the program’s synopsis, Cavanagh’s character, Jack, serves as the “new chief detective for the local law enforcement agency, a former urban dweller endeavoring to adapt to the eccentricities of life in a smaller community.”
