Sneakers with double laces are a new fashion trend that has already taken over street style chronicles and Instagram feeds. And the best part is: you don’t have to hunt for a new pair – this viral trick is easy to repeat at home with your favorite sneakers. Miu Miu was the first to bet on contrasting laces, introducing a model in collaboration with New Balance – and turned a barely noticeable detail into the main microtrend of 2026.

Brands opted for two pairs of laces at once: brown – tied at the bottom, and green – at the top. During the fall show of Miu Miu, sporty models appeared with snakeskin details and double lacing in black and gray. The looks were stylized in the preppy style, complemented by knee-high socks.
