Musician Lil Jon (birth name: Jonathan H. Smith) and his loved ones are grieving the passing of their son Nathan Smith, also known as DJ Young Slade, subsequent to the 27-year-old going astray in Georgia in the beginning of February 2026.
“The family is requesting discretion at this moment,” expressed a declaration from Lil Jon and his family, as reported by E! News.

Prior to his going astray, Nathan was last observed departing from his abode on February 3, 2026, by foot and at this moment he is without his cellular device, as stated in the police department’s missing person announcement.
According to the Milton Law Enforcement Agency, Nathan may also be “confused and requires support,” and “kin and acquaintances are concerned about his welfare.”
His last pinpointed position was “in close proximity” to Baldwin Dr./Mayfield Rd. in Milton, Georgia, as the news alert conveyed.
Where Is Nathan ‘DJ Young Slade’ Presently?
Sadly, Nathan passed away after authorities discovered a deceased body in a body of water.
“After being unable to find Mr. Smith during that period, teams broadened the exploration to encompass a pond in Mayfield Park in the vicinity of Smith’s Milton dwelling,” the Milton Law Enforcement Agency communicated via social media. “On February 6, 2026, at approximately 11:53 a.m., divers from the Cherokee County Fire Department discovered and retrieved a body from the water. The individual is presumed to be Nathan Smith, awaiting formal verification by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.”
As reported by the Fulton County Medical Examiner, his cause of passing was declared as an accidental “drowning in the environment of psilocybin consumption,” according to an autopsy report procured by People.
