What you should know about Entitled1 – a new cultural platform combining art, fashion, music and sports

Entitled1, a new cultural platform that brings together art, fashion, music and sport, is launching in London, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary culture and creating a space for dialogue and discovery. The independent project is led by Sam O'Shaughnessy, a media manager with over twenty years of experience in publishing. Together with his team, he has created a platform that combines original editorial content with support for new names, primarily in contemporary art, opening up a real commercial path for artists to a new generation of collectors.

“After more than twenty years in luxury publishing, I wanted to create something that was truly sensitive to cultural change,” says O'Shaughnessy. “Entitled1 is about a genuine celebration of new talent. Independence gives us the freedom to move quickly, creatively, and build a platform that is relevant to today.”

Entitled1 positions itself not just as an online publication, but as an incubator and commercial driver for young artists. The platform operates on a content-to-commerce model, combining authored editorial content with real opportunities to sell works. It is not just about publications or interviews, but about comprehensive cooperation: deep storytelling, strategic development, production and distribution of content, as well as full sales support for each release. Each artist represented on Entitled1 receives exclusive representation. The team invests in content creation, promotion and operational part, forming a long-term support model, rather than one-time media attention.

The selection of the first three artists took several months and involved art market experts and an international network of cultural industry professionals. The fundamental condition was collegiality: the integration of new talents is an open discussion, not a decision by one person. From February 25, the platform will present the works of Naleye, Jake Hall and God's MGMT. Each of them has a unique background and their own artistic language, but together they form a holistic curatorial position of the startup. In the future, new names will be added quarterly, and cooperation with artists will be built in the long term – with a focus on the development and scaling of their practice.

Entitled1 is launching a series of high-profile cultural initiatives. Among them is an exclusive editorial series in collaboration with Parisian filmmaker and photographer Fabien Montic, former creative consultant to Virgil Abloh, and legendary designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. The project will see international creators share personal stories while appearing in iconic JCDC archive pieces. The series will be long-term and will evolve over the course of a year.

The launch will also feature the global premiere of the short film LION by director Nastassia Winge Tan, a visually powerful work about identity, assimilation and cross-cultural experience. Through the language of movement, dance and the symbolism of Chinese New Year, the film explores the complexity of personal and cultural identity, offering the viewer a space for deep reflection.
