When Is the Next Winter Olympics?
The upcoming Winter Olympics following the Milano Cortina Games will be the 2030 Winter Olympics, slated to happen from February 1 to February 17, 2030. The schedule echoes the customary two-week Winter Games arrangement that unites top-tier winter sports athletes from around the world.

Where Are the 2030 Winter Olympics?
The 2030 Winter Olympics will be staged in the French Alps area of France.
Formal confirmation of the French Alps hosting the 2030 event was provided by the International Olympic Committee in 2024. “We are completely confident in France’s ability to put on a superb edition of the Olympic Winter Games, exhibiting the identical ingenuity, creativity and talent we’re presently seeing at Paris 2024,” previous IOC President Thomas Bach expressed at the time.
At the IOC Session, Emmanuel Macron voiced assurance in the nation’s capability to stage the occasion, stating, “France heightens the standards of brilliance each instance it stages a sports event. We have faith in the prospects of our mountains, and it is imperative we bolster their blueprint for the future: cutting-edge, bold, aware of ecological concerns, and available for everyone.”
He added, “I confirm to you here this morning the total dedication of the French State toward staging these Games. Paris 2024 will achieve great things, and the very same will hold true for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2030. You can rely on us — we will participate, and we are honored to promote this application for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2030.”
