Brown and pink sneakers are the shoe trend of the coming weeks and months

Some combinations seem to be made for each other: fresh mint and watermelon on a plate; Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi on screen; and pink with brown in the wardrobe. Brown is a fashion classic that gives the image character and a slight “roughness”, while powder pink adds lightness and soft contrast to the silhouette. Together they form an unexpectedly lively and at the same time verified combination. To start, it is worth integrating it into everyday looks with sneakers. Why? We will explain further.

The wave of enthusiasm for chocolate, caramel and biscuit shades (hello, Mocha Mousse) inspired us to let brown into our wardrobes. And now, it seems, pink will join it in the spring. After the shows of the autumn-winter 2025/2026 season, it became obvious: delicate shades of pink are increasingly combined with deep browns, and they do so in a variety of interpretations. At Fendi, delicate, linen-inspired elements were combined with fur in the spirit of Hollywood divas of the late 20th century. At Tory Burch, the mood was more restrained: fitted brown jackets were layered over silk maxi skirts in pastel, as if slightly faded shades. Prada offered pale pink pajama-style shirts, styled with high-waisted cotton shorts.

However, instead of gradually introducing this combination into your looks, you can first transfer this chromatic alliance to your shoes. The main inspiration for this decision is the Nike Shox Z sneakers. Inspired by running models of the early 2000s, in the 2026 version they received a more elongated silhouette and a lower profile – in the spirit of the general trend for elongated, narrow sneakers. This brown-pink pair has a restrained and almost minimalist look on the top, while the pink accents are revealed only on the side. Perhaps this is proof that even the most ostentatious sneakers of the zero can organically fit into an adult minimalist wardrobe.

The brown sneaker trend has been brewing for several seasons now. Just think of Harry Styles, who recently swapped his multi-colored Sambas for sleek brown running models from Dries Van Noten; Dakota Johnson in dark brown suede Nike Cortez; or Bella Hadid in Adidas SL 72. Like almost all key shifts in modern fashion, this movement can be traced back to the Miu Miu runway. For the spring-summer 2024 collection, as part of a collaboration with New Balance, Miuccia Prada updated the iconic 530 model in brown suede. They instantly became a cult object among street fashionistas and started a wave of adoration that still fills the market. From the Asics UB8-S GT-2160 to the suede Samba OG, brown and pink sneakers are now becoming one of the most relevant purchases of the season.
