
Scientists from Canada have developed a diet that can help you gain muscle mass and lose excess weight.
To this end, an experiment was conducted involving 40 men in their prime. They followed the scientists' instructions for 30 days. After the study, the doctors concluded that the volunteers had managed to maintain muscle tone while losing excess weight. Furthermore, they noted increased endurance and physical vigor.
The experiment proceeded as follows: volunteers were divided into two groups, each following a special diet—a low-calorie diet. The first group consumed more protein than the second. It was noted that the high-protein diet contributed to an increase in muscle mass in the first group by approximately 1.1 kg, while also reducing excess fat deposits.
The second group of participants neither gained nor lost muscle mass despite consistent exercise. Ultimately, each man in the first group lost approximately 4.8 kg, while the second group lost 3.6 kg. According to the researchers, all of them feel good thanks to their excellent physical condition.
The experiment allowed scientists to develop a diet that is a real boon for men who want to get in shape and lose weight. This requires following a low-calorie, protein-rich diet and regular exercise.
