Hailing from the Bay Area, Green Day is slated to commence the game with a unique local ceremony that commemorates six decades of Super Bowl legacy, establishing the ambiance leading up to the opening play. “Having Green Day, a group with hometown roots, commemorate 60 years of Super Bowl history, while recognizing the NFL icons who’ve contributed to the sport’s identity, presents an exceptionally impactful method to inaugurate Super Bowl LX,” stated Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of event and game presentation, in an official announcement. Following the pregame set of live music and ceremonial acts, global phenomenon Bad Bunny will be the main attraction for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, with aspirations of delivering an especially unforgettable performance.
