Savannah Guthrie shares a special connection with her relatives. The ‘Today’ show co-host was delivered and spent her early years in Melbourne, Australia, while her father was working there. Being the youngest member of her family, Savannah has kept a strong relationship with her parents and siblings.
Sadly, the Guthrie family had to unite for a distressing event in early February 2026. During that month, the disappearance of Savannah’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, was announced, according to her Today associates. She issued a declaration to the news program, stating, “On behalf of our loved ones, I want to express our gratitude for everyone’s considerations, hopes, and supportive words. Currently, our main concern is ensuring the secure homecoming of our beloved mom.”
In her declaration, Savannah also gave thanks to authorities “for their dedicated efforts in this situation” and urged “anyone possessing information to get in touch with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at (520) 351-4900.”

Similar to his sister, Annie, Camron also maintains a relatively lower profile than Savannah in the public sphere, yet she has been supportive of his career.
Back in 2018, Savannah celebrated her brother’s milestones as a pilot upon his retirement, referring to him as the “pride of [their] family” within an Instagram post.
“Col. Charles Camron ‘ARLO’ Guthrie on his concluding journey as an F-16 flyer,” Savannah inscribed in her post at the time. “He concluded his military flying career this weekend, and we were so fortunate to witness his final aerial journey. I have never felt a stronger sense of pride for my older brother. He dedicated 26 years to flying for our nation and remains a dedicated member of the ‘Green Mountain Boys’ – the Vermont Air National Guard. He embodies our family’s pride and represents one of the finest individuals in this country.”
