Whatever changes are happening in the fashion industry today, there are some constants – for example, Lebanese designer Elie Saab’s participation in Haute Couture Week with his classic vision of couture. In a world where words like inflation, recession and war have flooded the news feeds, his fairy-tale dresses for modern princesses seem like a real escapism in carefree times.

As the main source of inspiration for the collection, Saab chose the times that many remember with nostalgia – the seventies. This decade went down in history as the era of disco, dancing until dawn, rock and roll and Studio 54. The Lebanese designer combined the iconic silhouettes of the time – tight jumpsuits and flared pants, boho and dresses with deep necklines – with the signature golden shine and impeccable technical execution of each item. Extremely complex embroidery with shining threads, decor with beads and glass beads, inlay with stones and crystals – working with texture has always been Elie Saab's calling card, who in each of his collections turns to Eastern traditions of decoration. We consider the Elie Saab Couture spring-summer 2026 collection.
