We’re making our way back to the pitch with Coach Ted this summer! After a long wait, the highly-anticipated fourth installment of Ted Lasso is drawing near. And as we get closer to its summer 2026 launch, a host of fresh viewers are being swept up in the fervor of soccer (er, football, given the setting is in England), and are keen to discover who remains a part of the show’s central ensemble.

The single performer who will seemingly not be reviving their character in the Apple TV+ series for season 4 is Phil Dunster, who portrayed Jamie Tartt across three seasons. As reported by Deadline, the actor faced a scheduling conflict stemming from another show.

Jason Sudeikis – Ted

Jason embodies the main persona of the show, and he is also among the show’s originators and executive hands. While undertaking this multifaceted responsibility for the acclaimed series, Jason has been enacting the well-loved role for the show’s entire duration thus far.

During season 4, Jason’s Ted will be confronted with the ultimate challenge: mentoring a women’s second tier squad in Richmond.

Hannah Waddingham – Rebecca

Hannah embodies the much-loved AFC Richmond proprietress. She was first seen during season 1 as a firm and somewhat plotting individual but has since evolved into an empathetic presence within the series.

Brendan Hunt – Coach Beard

Brendan, who engaged in exclusive conversation with Hollywood Life in 2025 regarding his bonds with his Ted Lasso castmates, embodies the amusing Coach Beard within the series and is also a writer and co-creator for the program!

“Each occasion we reunite, it mirrors a school reunion,” Brendan conveyed to Hollywood Life in the past year. At the time, he chose to remain discreet with respect to the series’ fourth season.

Brett Goldstein – Roy

Brett takes on the persona of the cherished, though occasionally icy, Roy Kent, an erstwhile football player and assistant coach for AFC Richmond. Similarly to a few of his fellow actors, Brett assumed numerous duties on Ted Lasso, functioning as both a writer and executive producer.

Juno Temple – Keeley

Juno is well-recognized for acting as the series’ affable and newly designated PR head, Keeley. Over the initial handful of seasons of the program, Keeley held the role of the team’s marketing and public relations director, discovering her distinctive path by establishing her PR enterprise.

Nick Mohammed – Nathan

Nick’s character, Nathan, steered audiences through quite the winding path, transitioning from a formerly timid and unassertive assistant coach for AFC Richmond to the virtually villainous head coach of rival West Ham United. Yet, as devotees are already aware, Nathan commendably made his return to Richmond near the close of season 3.
