On January 27, Mathieu Blasi showed his first couture collection within the walls of the Chanel fashion house, in which he continues to update the legendary brand with over a century of history. The new collection is built on a sense of lightness, with which the designer skillfully permeates completely different components of his collections – this time, both classic two-piece suits with skirts and even Chanel bags became weightless. The changes also affected the famous two-tone shoes.

This time Blasi added color accents and also played with the shape of the heels. Photos of pairs with mushroom heels have already spread across social networks. If you are not yet ready for such experiments, then it is best to pay attention to two-tone shoes in bright shades – red-black, red-pink or blue-black. Unlike classic models with a rounded toe, in the new version the contrasting part is more elongated. It starts almost from the middle of the foot and visually lengthens the leg.

Such attention to shoes on the part of Blasi is quite logical. Firstly, this category often becomes the first point of contact between the brand and the client. Secondly, the French-Belgian designer has already outlined from the first collection that in the history of Chanel he is most interested in the period of Coco Chanel's work. Fans of the brand know: she created the legendary two-tone pumps in 1957 in partnership with the French shoe house Massaro. Chanel sought to create shoes that could be worn from morning to evening, combining elegance and comfort.

The two-tone color scheme, she believes, provided versatility, allowing them to be worn with completely different things. Almost 70 years since their presentation, nothing has changed – these shoes remain a modern classic, elegant and at the same time practical, in any interpretation.
