Grey is no longer associated with something boring or dull – on the contrary, today it sounds as chic as possible. Over the past few seasons, designers have made it one of the key colors of their collections, and now it is quite seriously claiming to finally replace black in 2026.

Men's Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2026/2027 only confirmed this trend. For Dior Men, Jonathan Anderson presented a collection with a nomadic spirit, punk undertones and loose references to Paul Poiret. Gray suits and trousers appeared on the catwalk, styled carelessly and casually. At Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams worked with different shades of gray on jackets, bootcut trousers and coats, complemented by reinterpreted bows.

The women's collections of the spring-summer 2026 season are also full of gray accents: an anthracite knitted sweater at Bottega Veneta, a leather bag at Loewe, a spectacular steel-colored dress at Aaron Esh. All these looks only strengthened the interest in the color, which is appreciated for its versatility and ease of styling.

On the streets of fashion capitals during the last Fashion Week, gray also became the main character of street style. Stars experimented with mix&matching its different shades – in particular, Robert Pattinson, who was seen in a gray look at the Dior Homme show. In addition, it-girls are increasingly betting on gray denim: Bella Hadid was seen in oversized gray jeans more than once, and Rihanna boldly brought back the Y2K aesthetic with bleached models.
